Louis Vuitton Junior Trophy : warm up
The Louis Vuitton Cup Junior Trophy is underway!
Wednesday 11th November was the start of training for 40 young sailors from the South of France (Alpes Maritimes & Var) who gathered on the site of the Class Americas' Louis Vuitton Cup in Nice. 10 knots' wind and great sunshine was the perfect start for the O'pen Bics for the 20 riders of each region.
At the week-end (14th & 15th November) they will battle it out for a place in the finals where a lucky 20, 10 from Alpes Maritimes and 10 from the Var, will compete against each other to win an O'pen Bic for his/her club and to be the 18th crew-member on one of the Louis Vuitton Trophy boats ...
First official results out on Monday 16th. Finals 21st & 22nd November.
